Weekend Plans?

What's everyone up to this weekend? Any good plans or activities?

DH and I had planned to take a hike tomorrow but I went and re-broke my toe this morning. Of course! So, we're planning on packing up the pup and taking a drive through the Cascade Hwy loop up north.Monday we're seeing a movie and I'll make meals for the week. Seven months pregnant and 86 degrees just don't mix. :)

One of the days we're going to continue working on the babe's room in an effort to get the drywall and trim finished. We still have to get the floor refinished. Has anyone used a company to refinish their floors that they would recommend?

I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

    We don't have any plans yet. DH has monday off, so I am thinking we may try to get out and do something with the puppies. We live near a lake, and the trail around it is extremely pleasant! We need low cost options, and we are new to the area. Any suggestions?

    I remember being 7mos PG. I lived in Sacramento at the time, and the weather was in the high 90's and low 100's. Not fun!

    Biggest BBQ/GTG I have ever hosted (all DH's co-workers) Earlier this week it was 15 adults and 10 kids, so I planned accordingly. DH just called and said 21 adults and 16 kids. 

    So yeah....tomorrow we help the yard out a little more, Sunday I do food prep and clean up the inside of the house a little bit. Monday I am sure it will be non-stop from 6am to 6pm. Soccer, sprinklers, bounce house, BBQ, and beer.  

    Mama to Z - 5.5 years, G - 3.5 years, & M - 1.5 years.

    My MIL and FIL are here now and BIL, SIL and our two nieces arrive tomorrow. So we'll just be hanging with them and trying to stay cool!

    We went out to Fox Hollow Family Farm today.  I had never heard of it until Jill mentioned it, and since DH gets a 4 day weekend, we decided to make the drive today.  We had a great time!  Livy got to pet bunnies, sheep, kitties, piglets, horses and a doggie.  She loved the little kiddie toys they had on the lawn (especially the Step 2 "roller coaster") and we bought hot dogs and cotton candy for a nice little lunch.  I'm so glad we decided to go!  This is the kind of thing I'm always thinking would be fun, but never actually plan.

    Zoo with friends today (basically first time for G). Tomorrow family photos and Sunday a friend's birthday party. I may have to go into work at some point but overall should be a good one!

    I can't wait to see pictures!

    Unfortunately no fun plans for us. My granny's funeral is tomorrow and I think my bio dad might show up. :(
