We went back to review my surgical records at the free standing birth center this morning and were approved to try and VBAC there. I?m excited, and nervous! I?m having a hard time wrapping my head around going from one side of the birth spectrum to the other but we have 33 weeks or so more to prepare. DH is very supportive and has been very open minded about this adventure we are embarking on which is of great help. We will see what my body can do when given a fair chance.

Also, the midwife we met with today had a VBAC so that was encouraging.

Yeah!!! One of the CNMs at our center has had 2 VBACs as well. Super encouraging, isn't it?

That's great! My midwife and doula also had VBACs.

DS born via c/s 11/08 and med-free GD VBAC DD 3/11!

Yay! Excellent news!My doula had a VBAC herself, and I think it made her more understanding about my concerns.
