I apparently gave birth to Andre the giant. 100th percentile for weight 14lb 4oz, 97th for height 23 3/4", 95th for head 41cm. The NP at my Peds office started to lecture me on her weight, until she charted the height and saw she was proportionate.
They gave me the new Tylenol chart, I have it scanned to pdf but am not sure the easiest way to upload... When you look at a box of infant or children's tylenol now they will be the same suspension/concentration instead of infants being concentrated. There should be a warning on the front of the box if its new. It's now 160 mg/5ml (formerly was 80mg/0.8ml for infants) they have a new plunger style syringe in the infant box instead of a dropper too. But you can now buy children's and use it on infants (my Peds office gave me a box of children's to give her for shot pain today).
Clearly, I'm not a doctor so before giving your kids medicine check with yours I just have been letting other Moms of infants know so they don't give the wrong amount with the new suspension.
weight age dose
6-11lb 0-3 mo 1.25ml
12-17lb 4-11mo 2.5ml
18-23lb 12-23mo 3.75ml
24-35lb 24-36mo 5ml
Re: 2 mo stats & new Tylenol dosing chart
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

That amount is listed under the 80mg/0.8ml suspension for 6-11lb
"Old" 80mg/0.8ml chart:
weight age dose(ml)
6-11lb 0-3mo 0.4ml
12-17lb 4-11mo 0.8ml
18-23lb 12-23mo 1.2ml
24-35lb 24-36mo 1.6ml
The "old" suspension came with a dropper. Giant PITA until they get the older supsensions out of the stores/docs offices.

Yeah I think they've just released the chart and the medications, as they didn't have any tylenol at all at her 1 month appointment. Today they gave me children's but because the suspensions are the same I could give her the infant dose. It's supposed to keep people with multiple kids from ODing them when medicating with the "wrong" suspension. I believe they are changing the dosing for adult Tylenol as well since if you take the max amount for days on end you'll kill your liver.

My LO was also 8lb10koz, but 22". At 6 weeks 6 days he was 13lbs and just over 24". I BF and during his spurts he was ALWAYS on the boob, haha. I started doing 40-50% formula at the middle of the night feedings so my boobs can get a break.
I was in a restaurant and the waitstaff didn't believe he was only 7 weeks old. It's pretty funny, I am sure you get that a lot, too!
