I am in the process of prepping my GMD prefolds and fitteds. I was up to my 3rd wash last night when I happened to go into the garage while the machine was spinning and noticed that there were a ton of suds still in the water. I ended up needing to do 4 rinses before all the bubbles were gone. I figured it was because I had used 2 packets of Dropps. I started my 4th wash today and went and checked and again had a ton of suds still in the spin cycle. I am up to my 3rd rinse and am still getting suds. I only used one packet this wash. I have a dozen prefolds and a dozen fitteds in there. What am I doing wrong or am I just going to have to get used to doing additional rinses with every load?
Re: Dropps users can I get some input please
:oD You tend to start relaxing the "rules" the longer you've been doing things.
I use 2 Dropps and run an extra hot/cold full cycle after the detergent cycle. I don't check for suds, but was having a problem with musty smell and the extra detergent-free cycle seems to have helped.
ETA - when I prepped my GMD stuff I think I only used detergent every other wash anyway.
