It seems my last intro kind of started off wrong. So i want to try to reintroduce myself to this board. The last couple days I've read messages here and there and now have a better understanding of the culture of this board. I admit I may have overreacted a bit about some of the responses that I received, now I see snark and sarcasm seem to be one of this board's quirks. So if noone objects I would like to continue posting here to chronicle our ttc journey.

No, but if you talk about anything but her intended topic she either DD's or gets all pissy and tries to focus the attention back on her. Ironically, in her "update" post, she indicated that I was just looking for attention.
ETA: I see she has a new tactic. She'll just change the title of the post so it's clearly labeled with the contents. Classic.

It's worth your time.
This! This is more of an ask or answer questions type of forum. We don't each post/"blog" about every step of our journey. Feel free to ask questions, but please don't mistake this board for your personal blog or you will continue to get the kind of responses you got a couple days ago.
I do respect your admission of ignorance (of how the board works) and attempt to start over. People have started out much worse than you and ended up alright on this board. Good luck!

Yes. And don't try to tell her otherwise. She doesn't get it.
I totally understand the desire to want to blog about your experience...which is why I have a blog. On a blog site. Made for blogging.
People can definitely start over here, when they truly back up and change their attitudes. My gosh, look at Drex. She did a huge turn around and now she's a really sweet, thoughtful poster. She was awesome and really supportive when I had to leave the April BMB.
So why 3 new threads in less than an hour?
Seriously. They all would've gone perfect together in one post.

Do you control every conversation on babycenter, too? Did they kick you out for being the topic police and now we're graced with your presence?

Oh, that's great news! Welcome!
Wait, I thought this was a blog....

OMG no one fvcking cares. Seriously. Just post in threads and don't be a crazy control freak weirdo. There is no need for multiple intro posts, apologies, explainations, post title changes, etc.
NO ONE CARES.
annerz, we don't go backsies and rediscuss anything that has been discussed. That's one strike

Annerz is poking fun, which is something we like to do around here. Don't take it personally. It's the nature of the blog -- er... message board (see? I did it there. no harm done).
Not to rehash the past, but to refresh everyone's memory, Roxy thinks it's fine to take a maternity leave to "add to her savings" with no intention of going back to work. So yeah, when your company cans paid maternity leave for all employees, you have D-bags like her to thank
That is all.
So then can we talk about cake? What kind of cake do you like?
4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015
Yes. Red Velvet. Yummy!!!
You made me seriously LOL... I think you might be my favorite bumpie... lol.
July - Nov 2011: Testing with OB... OB said everything looks good
March - Sept 2012: Moved to RE.. 4 treatment cycles - responses of one or no follicles
09.03.12: Diagnosed Poor Ovarian Response.. DE IVF only option
Feb - Nov 2012: Pursued Adoption. That door slammed shut.
12.23.12: Surprise BFP (first ever)... 12.25 - 12.31: Natural M/C
She may have been nice to you, but to use her as a good example of starting over is ignorant. Methinks she played you. I am guessing you weren't around for all the hell that drex caused (and still continues to cause, IMO) here.
OMG, me too! Just got my boss a bunch of Magnolia Bakery (for you NYers) cook books for her birthday because she bakes. I want her to make red velvet cupcakes for my birthday, which is soon.
LOVE me some cupcakes. However, I prefer Sugar Sweet Sunshine over Magnolias. Red velvet is amaaazing. Actually, any cake is amazing.

We had a red velvet cake for our wedding. It was delish! When is your birthday? Mine is coming up at the end of this month too.
This may be more of a FFFC, but I despise red velvet cake. For me, it's all about vanilla cake with plain ol' buttercream. Delicious!

It seems her bouncing around to the different boards has done her no good.
I LOVE red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Now I think I may go make one, would anyone like to come over and have some when it's done?
