Do you wear makeup every day? 99% of the time - it makes me feel better.
Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Napping, always. She is not patient enough for me to shower while she's awake. If I absolutely cannot wait (usually if I'm covered with bug spray after being outside or something like that), I rinse off quickly).
Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Sometimes, I think DH does think so, and I feel as though we have a 95/5 parenting breakdown. I asked him a couple of weeks ago to try to help out more, and I felt like our parenting was closer to 70/30 last weekend (which is OK with me).
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? They are currently driving me a little crazy. The problems that were not as annoying prior to E (really loud nuisance barking, a little bit of aggression) are becoming actual problems, and we're thinking about sending them to a doggie school.
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? Not anymore. I did before she STTN.
Do you regularly exercise? I'm trying. Right now, E and I walk every weekday morning, and I want to join a gym with a daycare.
Do you do all chores around the house? Yes, other than taking out the trash and mowing the yard. We pretty much follow the gender stereotype in terms of chores.
Is LO's nap time your "me time?" I try to take one of her naps as me time and work on things around the house with the other.

Do you wear makeup every day? Nope, hardly ever. But I did get my eyelashes tinted (weird I know) so I look like I'm wearing mascara with zero effort. It makes a big difference!

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Usually while she is awake, before DH leaves for work in the morning. If he's gone or has to get an early start, though, I shower during her morning nap.

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? No, but I usually feel like "parent on duty" even when he is around.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? Sometimes, yep.

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis?No, but I have been known to take a cat nap while she is snoozing if it's been a particularly hard day.

Do you regularly exercise? Yes. Jogging stroller FTW!

Do you do all chores around the house? Not ALL, but most.

Is LO's nap time your "me time?" Partially, but mostly it's my "take care of business" time. It's when I clean, return emails, make calls, etc.

Almost every day, but my make-up routine is really simple (just powder, blush and mascara).

Typically I jump in the shower as soon as she falls asleep for her morning nap. Although teething has interrupted our nap schedule, so yesterday I put her in her exersaucer in the bathroom, which she LOVED. Silly baby!

YES. It's such a problem right now.
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)?
Hubs and I seriously considered adopting a dog before LO was born, but the dog was adopted before we could make up our minds. Now I'm SO glad that dog found another home...I can't even fathom having a pet right now!
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis?
I have a really hard time napping during the day. Some days I wish I could!!
Do you regularly exercise?
Do marathons of Keeping up with the Kardashians count? If not, then no.
Do you do all chores around the house?
YES. Again, it's a problem.

If I don't have any cleaning to do, I call my mom or space out to trashy TV.

I try to when he's napping but he doesn't always nap so then I do it when he's awake

no, my DH is pretty good about helping. Unfortunately he's been working 80-90 hour weeks and we don't see him much lately so, in effect, I am caring fror G 24/7

Ha ha, random much? Yes, if they wake G up. I want to kill anyone who does that

no, not anymore. Think it was interfering with his naps. Sad

Depends on how much I have to get done, my me time is after G goes to sleep at night.

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Both. Generally while she's napping, occasionally when she's awake & playing in her room, or when DH is playing with her.
Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Yes, but only when he's out of town, like August. ugh. When he's home it's 60/40 with him doing the 60. I generally catch up on stuff around the house. He loves to spend time with P, so it's not a huge deal. I, too, still feel like I'm sort of on call even when he's home. I don't mind though, it's kind of like a group effort thing plus he's more focused on fun stuff than what time it is & when naps/solid meals need to happen.
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? Oh yeah. We have 4 cats, plus now 1 drop in. They are generally sweet & worth it, but sometimes I dream of 4 cat skin rugs. Only mostly joking.
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? No. I wish I could & do sometimes, but usually I either can't get to sleep or get other things done, like Jilly's to-do list. lol
Do you regularly exercise? I want to, and I'm trying to get better.
Do you do all chores around the house? Hell to the no. I don't do toilets, garbage, recycle, other yucky gross things unless DH is out of town. I can do them, I just don't like it & he doesn't mind.
Is LO's nap time your "me time?" Kinda, but I try to take it more when DH is home & I can truly "tune out" if that makes sense.

Do you wear makeup every day? Not every day, but I try and put a little on when Tony is having a good day and giving me a few minutes to myself.

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Napping.

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Not at all. He's wonderful about taking Tony as soon as he gets home from work to give me some time to myself. He also wants to spend as much time as possible with us during the weekend.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? Most of the time, no, but our dog would occasionally "act out" when Tony was a newborn, because he wasn't the baby anymore. It would definitely get frustrating.

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? No. I have a hard time napping in the middle of the day.

Do you regularly exercise? I take Tony on (at least) a 2-mile walk every day. It's good for both of us.

Do you do all chores around the house? Not all, but most. I'm one of those weird people who finds chores relaxing. Smile

I never nap with LO

I was excercising regularly before we went to Europe I need to get back into it.

Not all the chores. On days DH doesn't work he will clean the kitchen or vacuum.

Me time is after LO goes to bed. Ari doesn't nap well so I can never count on that but he loves going to bed.

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? No.. he's great. When he gets home, he helps out a lot. He will put him down at night and also naps on weekends. The only thing I do more of is diaper changing and feeding. But I don't mind that too much.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? YES!!!!! The cats always cry when he's sleeping and chase each other and makes so much noise.

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? Never. I don't nap.

Do you regularly exercise? Yes, 3-4 times/week

Do you do all chores around the house? Mostly. But I kinda consider that my job so I'm fine with it. My DH works hard 10 hour days so I can stay home.

Is LO's nap time your "me time?" Yes. I work out, shower, watch TV, etc.

I'm not a stay at home mom - I'm a part-time working mom - work every Saturday and then fill in sometimes during the week. But I am home with the kids most of the time.

DEPENDS... if i'm running or going in the pool that day i usually wait until night to shower... every other day i shower with LO.

NOPE. i'm so lucky.. DH is so good about taking care of jarhead when he's home... i try not to ask him to do things since he works and is going to school but he's really helpful.. especially if i go running or out with friends

YES. I WOULD SAY 4 OUT OF 5 DAYS.. weekends i'm too busy hanging out with hubby or getting ready for church...

EH... i just ran a 5k and did good training for it. that was 2 weeks ago and i've worked out 2ce since..

YEP. hubby takes out the trash on his way to work and will help with things if i didn't get time during the day.... i usually ask tho.. he's not the "just go and do it" kinda person.

YES AND NO. i usually do 30-45 min of chores, play on the computer, watch tv (usually fold laundry tho while it's on) or nap...

Either. If she's awake then I pop her in the exersaucer in the bathroom with me. Otherwise I shower while she naps. And then go blow dry my hair in the basement.

Nope- we had some issues early on but have worked them out (mostly). He's a developer so he is home some days and is great about helping when he's home. Also, we switch nights with Ava, still, so I get a good night of sleep at least every other night.

Sometimes- our dog is great in that she is really only active from about 2-6 p.m. However, during those hours she wants to playplayplayplay and bark at everything that moves outside.

Nope.

I take a walk every night with MH, the dog and Ava. It's not really "exercise", but at least we get out and do it.

Do you do all chores around the house?

I do all the laundry/picking up/dishes etc. MH mows the lawn, takes out garbage, etc. We have a cleaning lady every two weeks for heavy cleaning.

Yep- I try and do 30 minutes of chores and the rest of the time I read, mess around on the computer or play Angry Birds on my phone

Do you wear makeup every day? Uh no. These days I only seem to put it on if I'm going out in public around people I care about. Dinner with friends=yes. Grocery store or any other random errand=no.

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Whenever I can get it. Our bathroom is unfortunately right next to H's room so if it's been a bad napping day, I wait until she's awake. Sometimes I'm still dirty when DH gets home. Embarrassed

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? No. He's actually very good about taking her most of the evening even after working a full day at the office because I've taken care of her all day. I REALLY appreciate that.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? OMG yes. The dog for being my 2nd shadow all.day.long, the short haired cat every morning at 5am being obnoxious until we feed him. My long haired cat is the golden child.

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? No way, nap time is for me to get my personal stuff done.

Do you regularly exercise? I regularly think about my lack of exercise. And tote around my 18 lb child. That's about it.

Do you wear makeup every day? I at least always wear mascara. I have blonde eyelashes and look sick if I don't have any on.
Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Depends on the day and mood of the boys. I take any opportunity I get.
Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? We have been working on this. He sees me as the default. He helps when I ask him. He's been working on being more aware that he needs to pitch in more.
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? We have a cat that absolutely LOVES to meow or use her scratching post as soon as I get Aaron to sleep...which wakes him up and I have to start all over again...
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? When it was just DS1, I would nap when he did. Now I can't really nap at all. I have a 2 year old that is refusing his naps presently...

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? usually awake - after his breakfast and before his first nap - he chills in the exersaucer

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? - no way! He was with him all day today while I was at work (getting my classroom ready for school to start next week) - he's well aware of how hard it is.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? - No I loooove them. So does DS

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? - never...I think I've taken like 4-5 naps since DS was born 8 1/2 months ago.

Do you regularly exercise? - 2 times a week? Plus taking walks with DS. Wish it oculd be more.

Do you do all chores around the house? - I do a lot of them...a lot of dishes, grocery shopping, cooking and general cleaning up. DH cooks once a week, does the cat litter/box, takes the garbage out and does all of the outside lawn work.

Is LO's nap time your "me time?" - TOTALLY! I go on the computer, watch TV, coupon and cook.

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? either- if they are awake I put them in their cribs with a toy.

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Yes- I am the caregiver.

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? Somedays yes. I love my dogs (three of them) but I am getting tired.

Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? no- I use to nap when they did but I have way too much stuff to do.

Do you regularly exercise? yes while they nap in the morning I use my elliptical

Do you do all chores around the house? all except take out the trash and mow-- everything else that is me.

Do you regularly exercise? YES! 40 mins everyday for the last 3 weeks! i'm pretty proud of myself

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? Usually while he is asleep either before he wakes in the morning or after getting them to sleep at night. Occasionally, I'll have to shower in the morning while he is awake and I'll put him in his pac-n-play in my bathroom.
Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Absolutely. He's great with our older DS but he doesn't have much of a tolerance for whining/crying and LO whines even when he's being entertained. I'm sure that he'll be just as great with LO when he gets a little bigger because he was the same way with DS1 and now he & DS1 are always doing things together.
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? We don't have any...yet. I took DH & the boys to a pet store yesterday to look at the puppies because I've wanted one for a long time since I grew up in a family with a lot of pets but we haven't had a yard until recently. Then, tonight DH mentioned that we might be able to get a dog soon.
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? Not since he was a tiny baby. I usually clean while he's napping since both kids nap at the same time during LO's afternoon nap.
Do you regularly exercise? Yes, but I just started last month.
Do you do all chores around the house? Yes, except DH will usually take out the garbage if he's home.
Is LO's nap time your "me time?" No, DS1 is still awake during the morning nap and I usually clean during the afternoon nap. My "me time" is after both kids go to sleep on the nights that DH works night shift. I usually read, paint my nails, or hop in the jacuzzi on those nights.

Do you shower while LO is awake or napping? I have converted to a night time showerer (after LO is asleep), which has been a lifesaver. It's just one less thing I need to do in the morning, and probably the reason I have time to do my hair and makeup!
Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? Yes. I do 99% of the work, but he works very hard to provide for us, so it is what it is.
Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? Sometimes, yes, and I feel awful about it. It's impossible to give them the same amount of attention and exercise I used to, and they are needier and clingier than ever.
Do you nap with LO on a regular basis? I've done it a few times.
Do you regularly exercise? Yes. It's my only "me" time. I enjoy it and I need it.
Do you do all chores around the house? I have a housekeeper who comes every two weeks and does a thorough clean, but I do everything in between, and all other chores.
Is LO's nap time your "me time?" If you count running around like a madwoman, throwing in loads of laundry, doing dishes, scrubbing floors, etc. as "me time", then yes!

Does your DH/SO think it's up to you to care for LO 24/7? not 24/7 but most of the time yes. not only does he work long hours, but I'm also still nursing. I'm ok with it

Do you want to kill your pets (not literally, obviously)? some days yes. It frustrates me to no end because I really do adore my dog

Do you regularly exercise? We walk the dog every day and I'm training for a half marathon so we run almost every day.
