Friends of ours gave our little girl Violet. She loves her! Now that she knows her name, she gets a huge smile when she hears Violet say/sing her name to her.

My DS got one for his first birthday and he loves it Scout is his bedtime buddy. My 4yr old has a Violet and still loves her's as well, They love the music and the little song that sings their name. I will be getting my youngest one as well. I would recommend it

DS has scout and never really carried for him. DD has violet and isn't thrilled with her either.

My LO loves her, it ticks me a little that it doesnt say her name right but def. cute. Be warned you will be singing her songs in your sleep!

Try it out in the toy aisle. I have two friends who bought Violet for their baby girls, and both liked her. One is about to reprogram her for her second daughter. So the other day I showed DS Scout at the store. His face lit up and he smiled/giggled. It was so cute. I definitely want to get it now!

Anyway, D has Violet. It's kind of cute...but be warned, the songs are like brainworms that will never EVER leave your head. The pronunciation of "Daphne" is kind of weird. I did very much enjoy the fact that she blew a raspberry at the toy when it told D that it loved her.
