Haha not that kind of question. I am going to a family member's shower, and they are having a diaper raffle for her. Here's my question: How small of a pack of diapers is too small to bring? I don't want to look cheap, but want to get her something she'll NEED, since her registry is all clothes and toys. Oh, and there were 70 people invited, so I'm sure she'll get lots of them.
Re: Diaper Raffle?!?
Why don't you just sit out the diaper raffle then? Aren't they supposed to be optional?
In all seriousness, I am willing to be more than 1/2 the diapers she received will go to waste / get passed to someone other than her because her LO will have reactions to certain brands.
I vote skip the tacky thing.
Yeah, skip it.
Diaper raffles are optional. Do you really want to win a basket full of stuff from Bath and Body Works (in whatever scent was on clearance) anyway?
Take the $10 you would have spent on diapers that she'll never use, and put that toward the rest of your shower gift... or buy yourself some Starbucks and a cookie.

I agree with this. When a friend of mine had her baby shower last year, she got so many diapers (without even having a raffle) that she ended up donating the ones she couldn't use.

I actually think a diaper raffle sounds like fun...maybe its because I haven't been to very many baby showers
Anyway, I agree with PP that a small pack in a larger size is a good option. I've heard they'll go through sizes 0-2 REALLY fast and the larger ones will be more useful.
head ---> desk.
People actually do this?!? Crikey, its even worse than a traditional diaper raffle! People should not procreate if they need to collect singles to 'raise money for the baby's diapers'!!!!!
NO. A diaper raffle is where you bring a pack of diapers, and you are entered into a raffle to win a door prize, and the diapers go to the momma-to-be. WTF kind of diaper raffles do your people have?
