Funny DHs Stories

I had to share this here and hope to hear all of your DH's funny stories, i know they are out there!

I use playtex drop-ins (shown below) for pumping and one day while i was cleaning my pump and all my little pump parts, my husband walked in.  I had just discarded the drop-in into the trash and lid was still open.  My husband walks in, minding his own business, and looks down into the garbage.  He takes a couple more steps and then turns around to take another look.  Concern quickly fades away as a small smile takes its place.  He says, "Whoa, I thought that was a very large condom for a second!"  I bust out laughing and say, "Well i guess I would have some major explaining to do."

I have a book review due today which I'm writing now, so I'm frying my brain and don't have any stories to share, but thanks for a laugh. My first reaction might have been inappropriate, but I was thinking, "Wow, you must be cheating with my first husband." Stick out tongue

  • Funny- but I have had that same thought. My funny dh story is actually from the night Jack was born. We were going to the hospital for monitoring. I was pretty sure (hoping) that we were coming home. Kyle freaked out and packed a bag. He packed 3 pairs of socks for himself, the noise machine for the baby room and the car seat. Needless to say after all the drama was over I sent him home w a detailed list.

  • Twice since Lizzy was born I've needed DH to pick up milk for me at the store.  I'm not eating dairy so both times I wrote out on the list exactly what I needed, "Silk, Pure Almond, Original"

The first time he came home with Pure Almond Vanilla - close but no cigar.  I drank it and it wasn't bad.  Then this week I open up the fridge after he returned from shopping and saw he got Coconut Milk.  Not even close! I tried it over cereal but I just didn't like it.  I felt like I needed a daiquiri with my honey nut cheerios.
