I have decided to start my own eco-friendly house cleaning business. I had my first job today. Boy, was it a doozy!! I am so excited about this.
So maybe being laid off is a good thing since I can now be my own boss and do my own thing with no overhead or investment costs.
Re: NBR: Being laid-off is a good thing.....
That is awesome!! My old roommate is the editor of a well known magazine, and she once got us a free apartment cleaning by a "green cleaning" company-- I LOVED how the whole place was clean and didn't reek of chemicals!
I was looking for one for the end of pregnancy-- kind of a special treat before bringing LO home, but never found one --- maybe that would be a group for you to market to? green clean your home before bringing the baby into it?
A potential client is pregnant and due in November. She wants to have the house spotless before the baby comes and doesn't want the chemicals. It is perfect!
I make my own eco-friendly, pet and baby friendly cleaning solutions, as well as air fresheners. I hope to market to more households with pets and kids. I will be offering "nesting" specials. It is for those that want a full house scrub down right before baby is due.
The SPD is getting better. Definately not up to par but I noticed being more active makes me feel better. I get very sore but, no matter what I do that happens at the end of the day.
