I have been taking my LO here due to its convenience. Everyone is so nice from the dr's to the nursing staff but I feel like I dont get any solid advice. My LO has had some tummy/feeding issues and I get suggestions each time but it always seems like they are guessing. Is this generally what happens at most pedi offices since LO's are so small and still developing. Or should I be looking for a better experience elsewhere?
Re: frustrated with Crown Colony Pediatrics
My pedi is the same, gives suggestions only. I read a lot of info on every issue and try to educate my self too. Every baby is different, so they cannot give solid advice, just suggestions. I go to weymouth pedi, if you want this info.
I hope this helps.
I think this generally happens esp. at a larger office.
Personally, this is why I went with a smaller office. The same thing still happens but I've found that as I see the dr. more often now, it seems to happen less. I guess they just get to know you and your child more.
It's hard though - I think it might be luck of the draw. We go to South Suburban Peds. (very close to CC) only one dr. and two NP. in the practice.
One other thought: Maybe you can try to get appts. with the same person at the practice for awhile so one person gets to know your DD and her patterns.
