My blood pressure was up today...boo hoo. Dr. upped my dose of labetelol and now instead of every other week appts I get to see him every week...with an ultrasound every other week to check baby's growth. I was hoping to make it to 32 weeks before going every week. I totally agree it's worth it, but will be kind of a challenge since my Dr. office is 40 min. away from work and I will have to miss work each week to go. Luckily, after a huge bleed again last Wednesday (not the lucky part) , and monitoring in the birthcenter, they are 99.9% sure the bleeding is from the cervical polyp and is nuscience bleeding. I still have to do modified bedrest during an active bleed, but at least my placenta and baby look GREAT! I am feeling pretty darn good about things for the first time...I've made it to viability and baby is measuring two weeks ahead in size, so I am truly blessed...now let's get this blood pressure down!

Re: I like my Dr...but really???
Hope all goes well for you! Starting next week I have to go twice a week - once for NST and once to the perinatologist for an ultrasound. Like you my office is 45 min. to an hour away depending on traffic and I am going to have to miss work part of the day for two days every week. I hope my boss doesn't freak out.
Also, I don't have GD, no blood pressure issues, I'm perfectly healthy and so is the baby. All this is just because of my age.
Wow...just because of your age...that is crazy!
