We are team green and are having a hard time coming up with a boy name. After many names we are down to two. Which on does it sound better:[Poll]

I love both names, but picked Lucas because it irks me when people call young boys "Nicky".

That is the problem DH has with Nicholas. He only agreed on it if we make sure he is never called Nick or Nicky.

I voted for Lucas.. I like it better and it's sorta my grandfathers name.. (Lucien)

I think in the beginning, you can definitely tell people you don't want them to call him Nick or Nicky but as he grows up, if he wants to be called Nick, you obviously can't do much about it. It's really a matter of whether the potential nn bothers you. We threw out the name Patrick for this reason.

FWIW I love Nicholas and Lucas both, but I like the mn Reed a little more than I like Hunter.
