I am looking for a product that can be worn around lo wrist and mine in a large crowd. I know there are backpack things which I dont like, carriers which LO is not a huge fan of(never has been, we have tried MANY) and strollers. She loves walking but in a crowd I worry about safety. I am just wondering what my options are without doing the backpack leash thing(i dont mean to be rude I just dont know what they are called!)

It's a harness and I find it works great for my DS. I've only used it 2-3 times like on 4th of July, a huge church event, etc. Why don't you like it?
Here ya go.
Toddler tether on Amazon. Under $5. Goes from hand to wrist.
Why don't you like the backpack?
I'd be afraid of DS taking something off his wrist. He's pretty savvy and can get a lot of things off. We have used the backpack/harness in the airport and in other large crowd situations and it works great.
