Could I be?-Freaked out maybe baby

While my hubs and I are not trying to actively TTC, we have been having unprotected sex, using the "pull out" method, not sure how successfully, and I went off my birth control last month. I am supposed to get my period Sept 8th, but realized I have been having sex on days where I might be ovulating. I haven't over thought it, but the past two days I have been having a dull pain in my low pelvic region to the right, plus some nausea. What really freaked me out though was today he was making bacon in the frying pan and the smell was so overwhelming to me that I had to leave the room afraid that I could be sick. I've never had that issue before. I don't want to over think it, but could these be signs of pregnancy? Is it too early to feel early pregnancy symptoms if it is potentially only a few days after conception? Any advice or thoughts! Help!

You're only a month off bc so you're body could be acting crazy for all kinds of reasons and your cycles most likely won't be regular just yet. POAS for further information.

I had similar symptoms after going off BCP. That could be where your symptoms are coming from.

I have had that type of dull pain and this past month been nauseous a few times, but my period showed up today...so those don't really mean much but you never know.

Also, Annie, if you didn't really read and were so indifferent, why didn't you just not post anything? Wasn't really expecting someone to be snarky on this kind of message board when I was simply trying to reach out to other people that might have gone through something similar.

I'm assuming you didn't lurk before posting. The responses are usually fairly snarky...

As for your post, I agree with whoever said the bacon may have been expired. This has happened to me before. I also had nausea after going off bcp. Sometimes it takes months for your body to re-regulate itself. Hope this helps! And start using fertility friend Smile

That's pretty early to be experiencing symptoms - the earliest of symptoms (which is often breast tenderness) don't usually show up until at least a week after conception. That's not to say you aren't preggo, it's just a bit early to interpret symptoms. If your AF isn't due until the 8th, my advice would be to hold off on taking a HPT for now. Most doctors recommend waiting until at least the day of your missed period, and many say even until a week past it.

It's ok if it doesn't. I came on here to simply ask a question because it's a board specifically about getting pregnant. I was just hoping that if anyone else experienced something like this that might have resulted in being pregnant or something else, it would give me some peace of mind. Like the one woman that brought up how it could be from going off the pill, didn't even think about those being some symptoms of that, that was helpful.

If your period is not due for another week, it's unlikely (but not impossible) to feel any pregnancy symptoms.

Thanks for the support some of you ladies. I can see why it would be difficult if you have seen messages like these before or if you have been trying to conceive for some time and someone comes in here and writes that they think they may be pregnant by accident, it's not my intention to make anyone feel bad, I just thought it would be good to chat with other women about this. I have gotten some good food for thought so thank you for that!

It is abnormal to have symptoms that early, but not unheard of. Before i found out I was pregnant with A, I remember making corn and almost vomiting, and I was achy, and tired. And I found out I was pregnant about as soon as humanly possible.

"Pull out" is not a form of birth control. If you don't want a baby, go back on the pill or use condoms.

If you want a baby, learn how your body works so that you are able to answer questions like this for yourself. I would suggest fertilityfriend.com or the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
