  When miralax didn't work, my Dr. gave me some probiotics (sp?) and made me take a big dose of milk of magnesia every day until I was regular again.  Not fun, but eventually effective.

  that's what I thought too until it happened & I was miserable w/ diarrhea too.  hopefully you get some relief soon.  if only our bodies could stay regular
