Hi everyone,
Just completed a modified version of 3 day potty training program (used undies instead of bare bottom). DD has a dr's appt. today and i'm not sure what to do b/c i don't know how long we'll be there. should i let her wear the underwear or try to go buy some plastic undies to put over them?

I've done the plastic cover a couple times, but they get really hot in them and you can't tell if they've had an accident.
I would have her go potty before you leave, let her try again when you get there, and take her to go every 45min or so. Have her try to go before you get back in the car.
Take extra clothes/underwear. If she has an accident, it's a learning experience. I feel like you've gotta commit to using underwear, and accept that there will be accidents sometimes. If you don't show them that you have total confidence that they can do something, they doubt their own ability. Your expectations will show her that she's capable.
