First Pregnancy

This is my first pregnancy & I just moved 2000 miles away from my entire family! My boyfriend transferred his company out here about 3 weeks ago and we just got settled into our house in Henderson! Im new to the area, new to being pregnant & would love to make new mommy friends out here so I can have the support Im missing from my family! Im 24 years old and Im excited, nervous, happy and all of the above! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated and welcome!!!

    Making friends in Las Vegas isn't easy. Get out there, join an activity you enjoy and hopefully you can make friends there. Of course, you have your friends here too. :-) Good luck and welcome to Las Vegas!

    Hi!!

    My husband and I just moved out to Las Vegas this month as well and I am 35 weeks pregnant! He is in the AirForce and we are now living on the Northwest side in Centennial Hills area. Were from Florida so I know all about being pregnant and missing family. I am 23 years old, so feel free to contact me whenever, I am really trying to make some mommy friends before our little guy is due!

    Welcome to Vegas!  :D  I have been here a little over two years and what they say is right...this town is hard to make friends in!  Everytime I seem to meet someone cool, they move away.  LAME!

     I am up in the Centennial Hills area as well.. :D

    Hey Candykrytine,

    I couldn't help but relate to your post. I actually just moved out here with my fiance for a job he took. I am about 3,000 miles away from my family and friends and I have just found out that I am pregnant. I am also 24 and wish I had some of my friends around. Help everything is going well with your pregnancy and feel free to send me a message... I would love to meet some new people out here!

    haha, I guess Vegas is a popular place for us pregger girls to be away from family!! We are about to move to LV and will be living on the NW side of town - this is my first and I feel like I'm completely clueless!!

    Yea thats what I keep hearing!!! Im sure Las Vegas doesnt seem to be the best place for families to move! But I am trying to get a play group started with a few of the moms out here!!! If you would be interested email me at krystinescott@yahoo.com!!!
