How often do you buy your LO toys?

I feel like DS gets really bored with his toys, but I am not about to buy new ones every week! Just curious as to what others are doing....and any suggestions about toys your LO loves are welcome!

    We don't buy DD toys that often. I think the last toy we bought her was a baby doll a couple of months ago, and before that it was toys from her birthday in March. Honestly, she typically has more fun playing with a diaper box than with most of the toys she has.

    Hardly ever. We just bought him a couple of things for our recent plane ride, but before that, I can't remember buying anything except books. He already has a ton of stuff. Have you tried rotating some of his stuff so it looks "new" again?

    I think I buy her a toy at least once a month.  Sometimes it's just a cozy little chair or outdoor toy.  But I was just saying how she doesn't play with real toys much.  She plays with items that aren't toys.  She likes bags or purses to pack and unpack.  She loves books right now.  I'd like to get her a kitchen or a table/chair set that is her size.  She has one that is too big right now.  I pg 2/ second baby so I'm trying not to fill our house with more toys.

    We have a ton of toys from yard sales and gifts. DS gets bored with his toys as well, so I have a lot of them put away and I bring out new ones/take some away every few weeks. Yesterday was the first time I bought him a new toy since Christmas (we didn't buy him toys for his birthday in Febuary, but he got a lot from friends/family). He was playing at my parent's house and my Mom had a Magna Doodle, he loved it so much that I bought him one. He loves it.

    I went a really long time w/ out buying toys so lately I have been buying a lot as I get an idea of something that I think will help in his development & challenge him to learn something new. Though I had a gift card from his birthday for Toys R us. I also feel like he needs some cuddly stuffed animals or dolls so I'll probably buy something like that soon.
