Eli's birthday is right around the corner and I'm starting to get really sad about it. I mean, its great that he's here and healthy and I am glad to be able to celebrate my baby's birthday. But its really bittersweet and DH doesn't seem to understand that. Is it a mommy thing or am I just weird? He will be 11 months here in the next week and a half and I'm feeling almost panicky about the fact that its the last month before the year mark. *sigh* how did my baby get so big....and please tell me that this is normal lol

Re: anyone have a hard time with 1?
Super normal...at least at my house
I had a hard time when DD turned one, and again when she turned two. I prepared myself for it though (and we took her to Disney with family for her 2nd birthday, so that helped
)
It also helps to remind myself how amazing each stage is though... it does really just keep getting better!!
