anyone have a hard time with 1?

Eli's birthday is right around the corner and I'm starting to get really sad about it.   I mean, its great that he's here and healthy and I am glad to be able to celebrate my baby's birthday.  But its really bittersweet and DH doesn't seem to understand that.  Is it a mommy thing or am I just weird?  He will be 11 months here in the next week and a half and I'm feeling almost panicky about the fact that its the last month before the year mark.   *sigh* how did my baby get so big....and please tell me that this is normal lol
1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS
IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010

Trying for # 2 since 2012.  2 failed FETS 1 failed IUI.
IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)
March 2015- Chemical pg

1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!

    Normal!!  Although I think 6 months hit me harder for some reason...I think the birthday party helped distract me Stick out tongue

    I had a hard time when DD turned one, and again when she turned two. I prepared myself for it though (and we took her to Disney with family for her 2nd birthday, so that helped :) )

    It also helps to remind myself how amazing each stage is though... it does really just keep getting better!!

    Well, seeing as that I teared up today in Target when I looked at the baby on the box of the newborn diapers, I'll be joining you!  I just packed up all of his 6 month sized clothes....sniff, sniff.  I just want him to be my baby forever and ever.

    Aly, i hear you on the crying...i swear I have teared up every night this week while rocking him to sleep..i've been so emotional about it lately lol and i still have a little over a month left!

    I was really sad when Ethan was turning 1....I'm in denial that he is almost 2 and I'm just as sad! I hope it gets easier!

    I feel like crying every day that Elena gets closer to the next month mark -- I really dreaded 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and now 9 months too!  I know I'll be crying that whole 12th month.  It's just so cruel that it happens so quickly.
