Vent! (In-Laws)

Ok so my husbands father & sisters are here for the week! You would think a 47 year old man, 20 & 22 year old girls would know how to be quiet, & clean their own messes. Um they don't! DS's room is downstairs where he sleeps during the day, & also where they are keeping their stuff. They go around talking extremely loud, slamming doors, cell phones ringing like crazy, t.v. blasting & leaving every light on during the day!! Really people?! Oh and if you see my son sleeping, don't go over and start touching him! (your not the one who has to deal with a cranky, sleepy baby if he wakes up!) I told DH about it, if he doesn't say anything, I will!. Just trying not to be so rude about it! Vent over!!!

    Sorry that sounds very frustrating. Some people don't seem to understand that if baby is sleeping they shouldn't be woken up just because houseguest are bored. Sometimes I want to be bitchy and say "well you woke him up so you put him to sleep," but then baby suffers.

    I am sure you don't want to be rude and have them talking behind your back. I think the best thing is to tell your husband how you feel and tell him to bring it up with them, its his responsibility to set them straight.

    I have had my share of venting sessions with my husband regarding my in laws, but I always make sure that he is the one who handles them and I handle my family if they get annoying
