Okay, let me first say- this is in no way ment to start any kind of debate etc. Just plain old facts.

I am super thankful for oldies and their info, i love that there are fisty ppl on here that immediately shoo away drivebys and goats and nonsense. However, I don't post on dramatic threads... whether I agree or not. I love everyone (minus goats and a$$hats) and just wanted to let my bump buddies know that I'm happy, & I'm here & just because I don't put my 2 cents in on certain posts doesn't mean I'm anti - bump or any craziness- it's just I like to stay out of stuff, I have enough stress in my own life and prefer to live like switzerland on here.

I agree with with veggiechick- OP doesn't usually post batshitcrazy things that I've seen, so there's probably just a disconnect between OP's intention in posting this vs how it comes across to readers. It happens.

ETA: Not that this post is batshitcrazy. I'm multi-tasking and doing a lousy job of it, sorry!

I don't know how else to put it cashews. I was simply thanking those (like you) for sticking up for bumpies (like me) that don't stand up and add input to "drama" posts. I'm guessing you are possibly having a crummy night and just happened to feel edgey at my post, because I don't think my post is difficult to comprehend so (hugs) to you, I said I didnt want to start a debate, I just wanted to put out there why no one ever sees my name with a thumbs up or angry face posted after there is drama. To be honest I almost didn't want to comment on this again but I dont want you thinking I'm trying to stir anything up because I like you & respect you. Possibly a title change would have been better but I wasn't out to write an award winning piece.

FWIW I read no snark or condescension into the original post... I think tensions are just running really high over certain topics. It brings everyone, even lurkers, out of the wood work and puts the whole board on edge. Can we please all just have a time out and take a deep breath before this gets any worse? Please??

Um for reals.. I'm sorry OP but I agree with Cashews that this post sounds like your trying to start drama and I am actually in a pretty great place emotionally at the moment. Then you add that quote and it really sounds like your trying to start something.. Maybe it was the title that made me take it that way but I think that you stating the bolded part possibly added to it. I'm not just saying this cause I consider Cashew a friend but because it does sound very condescending.. I would have said something regardless of who it was about. my 2 cents

First of all, I don't think there was any drama in suntotos PSA at all. Just people trying to understand why the oldies felt hurt.

Second of all, I gave you a side eye not because I didn't understand the content of your post (which I appreciate) but because I didn't understand why you needed to post at all. A more appropriate title should have an AW in it. Or actually, a more appropriate thing to do was just comment in the thread it was pretaining to.

If you didn't want your opinion to get lost, then just say so! Your post came off, maybe it was just to me, as "I don't post on drama threads... I post drama threads of my own" which loses all content and makes it very side eye worthy.

BTW - I'm actually having a very amazing night and am I a great mood. Which is why you're not getting a flame... Just an honest reply. I'm not mad, crummy, pissed off, bitter or any of that jazz. I am in the hopeful phase of my cycle and doing just fine!

I'm late, as always, but I just wanted to say that I couldn't agree more. While some snark can be fun from time to time, this is really the last board that should have drama. We're all in the same boat and already have plenty of drama in our real lives, not lets add to it with board drama.

Frankly I'm getting pretty darn sick of the drama on this board. Maybe it's because I'm 37 years old and quite past the years of wanting drama in my life. But I digress. I've been an active poster for quite a while now and am always supportive in the posts I choose to write which is why this stuff really annoys me. It's just tiresome. Actually, you know what? I've just decided that I'm done with this. I wish you all the best and I hope you get your BFPs soon. I'm going to look elsewhere for support from here on out. Many thanks to those who have actually been helpful in the 12 months I have spent in various boards on thebump.
