The only thing that has worked for us so far has been Original Tide (powder). We have extremely hard water though and it's the only thing that has gotten my diapers truly clean. The downfall is that I have to strip them with RLR about every 3 or so months. Othewise, it's worked great for us!
bumGenius detergent or Dropps when we run out and need detergent NOW. Love them both but prefer bG for the cleanliness and smell (doesn't have a scent just makes them uber clean) but I love the convenience of Dropps - especially since I can get them at Target!
Re: Detergent poll (non-clicky)
Eco Sprout
We've used Charlie's and RnG and had stink issues with both. We have hard water.

RnG and Dropps -fail due to stink, even with Calgon and more detergent.
Tide Ultra- Score....It worked! We use this!
Crunchy clean is the only other thing that works for us (that we have tried) but since I can get Tide Ultra at the store I am using that for now..
