Back pain trick...

So I know I'm not alone with the lower back pain I'm experiencing. I wanted to share my latest trick- heat patches.  I think Tylenol and maybe Bengay make them, but I've been using a generic brand that really does the trick. They just stick on and last for 8+ hours! It's like a portable/disposable heating pad :)

My doc okayed a heating pad set on 'low' for those pesky pregnancy pains. Haven't needed it in a while but it is SO good.

Mine said it was fine, but I don't use the ones with chemicals. I use them on my neck for my torticollis so I wonder if thats why they said it was fine?

My doctor told me no to heat patches....So, I made a rice pillow. Small pillow case filled with rice, sewn shut, stick in the microwave for 45 seconds and TADA! Heat pad! Its not portable but its safe and it works when I'm sitting at home watching tv.
