Grrrrr!

I was on a three-week no-vomiting streak! So proud of myself! And then..last night..McBaby was like, "Nope, didn't like anything you had today." So, bam! Threw it all up, right before bed.

Sometimes it feels like one step forward, two steps back! Confused I'm almost 17 weeks...I feel like I served my "nausea" time! Anyone else still struggling with this?

I'm still taking Zofran at the same frequency I was before.  My nausea with DS was 24/7 for nearly 24 weeks!  OMG I thought I was going to die.  This pregnancy has been much easier but I still get nauseous and have to fight off getting sick.  If I take Zofran in time I can usually avoid it....but not always.

  • I was doing good too, but I just had some applesauce and had to get up and throw it up.  Not sure why, but applesauce never stays in my tummy.  You'd think I'd learn, but I always think, "I'm better, it won't come up this time".

Waaaaah, that's what I threw up last night, except it was just apple pieces cut into cubes. I should have known better. :(

I never took Zofran because any anti-nausea meds that I try  to take, I end up falling asleep for the rest of the day. So it's like I can be awake during the day and sick to my stomach, or asleep. :-P

After I threw up the applesauce and then I ate an apple, and now I feel good.  I am on zofran like kms34, but I'm trying my best not take it. If I'm just at home I try not to take it, and I do pretty good as long as I keep eating throughout the day.  If I knew I am going somewhere, I take it. I'm just tired regardless of medicine or not! Ha Ha!

  • Yep. I've thrown up twice in my 2nd tri so far, and once was over the weekend. It bums me out because I thought I was past all that.

  • I'm actually throwing up more in the 2nd tri than I did in the first. On the upside, I don't feel nauseous all day long like I used to. Now I'm only nauseous when I'm definitely about to puke. So even though it's more puking, I think that's still a vast improvement from just feeling horribly quesy all day long.
