On a lighter note, Hayden pooped on the potty!

I wasn't going to post this but i thought it would lighten the mood. We have been PTing for 9 days and had our first successful poop on the potty! Who thought i would ever get excited about poop. Smile I watched for the signs and he did it. Lets hope this is a step in the right direction!

    I think poop in the potty is so much better than poop in a diaper!  Woohoo!

    Great news.  Garrison is going to be in diapers until college.  I'm so overwhelmed on how to even do it.  I ask her is she wants to sit on the potty and get a jelly bean and she still says no.

    Will you come to my house and make Conor poo on the potty? Please!

    We've been working on PTing for almost 2 months and he have NEVER pooed on the potty.  Peeing, he's a pro at.  He'd rather hold his poo for 3 days until it literally falls out into his Thomas undies while he's running.  True story.Indifferent

    You are only 2 hours away (i am in omaha)! Smile I was watching him like a hawk as he usually poops in the aftefnoon. i saw him kind of pushing/grunting. i took him in and waited for about 1 minute. I relaxed him by putting his feet on my hands(he thought it was funny) and it worked.

    Go Hayden!!!   

    Penny pooped on the floor about 10 minutes ago.  Unfortunately she also tried to pick it up with a wipe and bring it to me.  Awesome.  She is actually doing really well with the potty but we were up in the loft and there is no potty or bathroom up there....I was putting away laundry and she was naked.  I should have known not to test it!!!

    I'll have your bed ready!  Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try it.  Conor wont even sit on the potty or go near the bathroom if he has to poo.  Screams bloody murder.Confused

    Yay!  We are potty-curious right now :)  Sam is very good at letting us know when he has to go, and will even let us take of his pants and diaper, but has no interest in sitting on the potty.  He is fascinated by the potties at daycare, but again, doesn't want to get ON them.

    PTing terrifies me!!

    When you say he won't sit on the potty, do you mean the little portable potty chair?  Have you tried sitting him on the toilet?  My neighbour never used a potty chair...went right to the toilet and just used one of those little seats that attach to the toilet.

    We don't bother with the little seat attached to the toilet.  Penny climbs right up there and goes on the regular toilet seat.

    PT is a rollercoaster!
