Yup I was up from 3am - 4am wondering why Opossum is spelled with a silent O? I mean come on now...lol. Why was I pondering this at 3am you ask? Well it seems we have one (or two) in our backyard that my dogs discovered yesterday and are having a blast chasing around. It's a little guy so mom must be near by and I think probably living under our deck. DH get's back in town today so we should have a great time figuring out how to safely get them out of our backyard and on their way to pester someone else with a 3am pondering thought on the spelling.
They are ugly....yuck!
Re: My 3am pondering...
at my old house, I watched a mommy possum move her litter of babies one morning just after sunrise. They were all laying across her back in a very neat way - all faces on one side, all tail on the other. There were 3 of them.
If you want more ponderings... wonder how mommy got them all up on her back in such an orderly fashion, the things didn't look old enough to barely walk.
