I am bored with DS's breakfast. We alternate oatmeal with fruit and yogurt with a handful of cheerios. He LOVES both, but I can't stand feeding him the same stuff everyday anymore. What do you feed LO for breakfast? Can he have eggs? I've read conflicting info about eggs. He is just starting to like the texture of chunkier foods and feeding himself finger foods.

Re: Breakfast options?
Egg whites can be an allergen. It has been shown that there's no greater risk for a reaction when started at 6 months vs 12 months. So we started Louie at 6 months and she's had no problems.
One of her favorite breakfasts is a cheese omelet because it's easy to pick up and chew. She also likes pancakes, bananas, cottage cheese, melon, and toast with apple butter.
ETA- if you don't want to do egg whites due to allergies, you can always make scrambled egg yolks.
