T&P for our friends

            Danielle was diagnosed with Leukemia 3 months after their son was born (he is 1 now).  She has been back and forth between being in remission quite a few times over the past year.  They finally found a bone marrow match for a transplant and have done two rounds of the strongest chemo they could in preparation for the transplant.  This morning, her biopsy showed the cancer cells have returned again. 

The Dr. told them that their only hope at this point is the transplant since the cancer cells appear to be resistant to the chemo.  They are going to go ahead with the transplant processes starting tomorrow even though there are still cancer cells.  The cancer cells decrease the likeliness that the transplant will be successful.  Obviously, we are completely broken hearted for them
