Dear Sister, Answer your cell phone or texts or FB msgs!

Grrrrr.  I feel like I am stalking my own sister.   Someone asked me if I would work for them (I work as an "On Call"), so I said I needed to make childcare arrangements (aka my mom or sister) and I'd let her know.  Soooo  I call my sister (my mom I know can't on one of the days I need to work, so I'm asking my sister), no answer.  Fine, she's busy and sometimes doesn't hear her phone.  But if I text her, she'll most likely answer right away.   So I text her "Can you watch the kids on X day, so I can work.  Please let me know, so I can let them know".   No text back.  Fine whatever- I'll FB message her since I know she checks FB eleventy billion times a day.  In fact she was on it posting about watching Bachelor Pad last night, perfect!  I jump on FB and msg her about watching my kids.  No answer.  Am I talking to myself here?   So I call her this afternoon.  She was on her way to my nephew's Dr appt and she'd call me back.   Still waiting.   Soooo I call my mom and ask her "Hey have you spoken to D today?, I need to know if she can watch the kids that day I'm scheduled to work."  Mom says "Yes, I was just over her house, give her a call she's home".  Okay fine.   I call.   Get voicemail.   Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Please I just need to know if you can watch my children so I can go to work.    Just slightly annoyed.

    I was wondering the same thing.

    It's so frustrating when you know she's checked all of her means of communication and still no response...especially when it's your sister who you are close to!

    I hope she call, texts, message....something soon!

    My sister is the same way.  She rarely answers her cellphone or texts.  It's pretty annoying.

    I don't see why she would be.  We spoke on Sunday and everything was honky dory.  I hadn't spoken to her all the week before when she was on vacation.
