Re: Anyone a financial advisor?
If she recommends any investments, ask about fees! Most financial advisors are paid through the fees taken off the top of any mutual funds you purchase. All mutual funds will have fees, but some will charge you .90%, and some will charge you 2.2%. So if both funds earn an average 8%, you will net 7.1% return from one, and only 5.8% from the other. If you are working with a financial advisor (and not buying the funds on your own), fees should be in the low 1% range.
Good luck!

How is she compensated? Are you paying her by the hour, or is she taking a commission on products that she sells you?
Keep the answer in mind when evaluating her advice. I went to a planner years ago and basically let myself get bullied into buying a bunch of stuff I really didn't need or want.
