I don't know why, but white grape juice seltzer water have been a godsend for me. I cannot drink plain water...it makes me sick! it is very strange, its all I used to drink. good luck!
I've heard drinking juice has helped some people quench their thirst. I think someone mentioned mixing juice with seltzer. Not sure if it works, but might be worth a try!
I think the key might be to sip it at much more regular intervals. I've found that when I guzzle it my stomach feels so heavy and that in turn makes me feel sick. So I've started using one of these cups:
It looks disposable but it is thick double-walled plastic and meant for refilling. I find that it keeps drinks cold for a while and the straw encourages me to sip instead of downing it all too quickly.
I've also been adding lemon slices to my water. I heard it is good for nausea and swelling. Maybe you are retaining some water and it is causing constant thirst?
I was just thinking about posting this as well! I try not to drink anything after 7 pm or so but am sitting at work, staring longlingly at my water. I am sooooo thirsty but hate to not sleep because I am getting up every so often to go the bathroom!

This is my problem as well, I'm super thirsty, but if I drink water it sometimes makes me nauseous. A few weeks ago, before this started happening, my doctor suggested to mix some fruit juice with the water, like 1/4 fruit juice to 3/4 water. I haven't tried it yet.
