So I had my 37 week appointment today and I asked the dr (who isn't my usual OB) if he know how big the baby was and he tells me 'he's not big and he's not too small'. Then I told him about this horrible dizzy spell I had the other day and he tells me 'well you either didn't eat enough or you didn't drink enough' This was all after waiting over an hour to see him.
Thanks Sherlock.
Re: My Dr is Goldilocks
I understand that he doesn't know how big he is, it's after you wait an hour I would like to have more than a two minute appointment where I get basically no new information. I just wish there was some more exciting news, espcially with all of our fellow Sept moms having their babies.
My doctor has joked from the beginning that the baby will be between 4-11lbs...
He doesn't take guesses, but does say the baby feels slightly on the large end, so I am guessing I am probably in the 8-11lb range, but he still REFUSES to elicit a guess.
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
