T&P needed DS is in the hospital
DS caught a cold from DD. She is in pre-k and there is a cold going around her class. She missed school Thursday and Friday but felt better to go to school yesterday.
DS had a slight cough on Friday. As the weekend progressed, he seemed to get worse. Yesterday was really bad. He was coughing a lot, a fever, and was pretty miserable.
I took him to the doctor yesterday afternoon. He has RSV. We were admitted to the hospital last night. He is on oxygen, steroids, an antibiotic and breathing treatments every two hours.
It has been a long night. It is sad to see such a little one with tubes and wires.

His oxygen levels are still up and down. They say the 5th and 6th days of RSV tend to be the worst. He is doing ok. I feel bad for him, he loves to suck on his left hand. They put the IV on his left side.

Ugh. DD had it at 6 weeks. We managed to avoid hospitalization, but that was an extremely sucky week to 10 days.
