Does anyone have anyone that comes in and cleans for them?

I am going to start having someone to come in to clean. I need to make a list for them and I am just not sure about everything that I should list. I guess that I am just worrked that I will miss something.

I wish I had someone to come in and do my cleaning. I think maybe just make a list of all of your chores, and cross off the ones you don't want the person doing, or the ones the person won't do.

My problem is I don't have a list. I just randomly clean when I see something messy, but my house is never as clean and organized as I would like it to be.

Yes!!! We just had our house cleaned on Saturday and it was amazing!! We have a 3 story house and lugging our heavy vacuum up down the stairs, and trying to clean all 3.5 bathrooms we have is NOT on my priority list anymore, not to mention the smell of cleaners make me dry heave.

I have never made a list for our cleaners any time they have come, they are wonderful, they do everything... it took 2 of them nearly 3 hours on Saturday to clean my house as I have been slacking.. Embarrassed

I have been slacking also. The only thing that is really clean are the commodes because I cannot stand a dirty commode when I am sick.

I also have a lady that comes once a month, but I don't give her a list. If you want above and beyond things done (like cleaning the inside of the fridge, etc.), they will probably charge extra. I would imagine that most just do the normal stuff (floors, bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)

I could not find a service to come in (live in a really small area). So, my SIL's sister is going to do my cleaning because she can use the money and I can use the clean house.

I do have a cleaning person - it's actually like a team that comes out every other week. I didn't make a list because they provided me with a list of things that they do and I pretty much looked it over and it was everything (and more!) that I was doing. I went out to their website and found the list of everything they do - so it will probably be a good jumping off point for you:

The Cleaning Authority rocks. The only reason I don't use them anymore is that I don't like the fact that I don't know who will be in my house week to week. The lady I use now, I know and I trust in my home if I am not there. She comes every 2 weeks. She actually babysits now for me too! I don't have a list, I only let her know if certain guest rooms don't need to be cleaned that week. She does a great job. If there is anything I think she needs to focus on that week, I let her know. I hope you enjoy having your house cleaned!

I recently started getting my house cleaned. it will be once a month and they have a huge list on their website of things they clean. I am happy with everything they had on their list and did not need to add anything. I only mentioned the things that were very important to me. Since I have a dog, I wanted to make sure all of his hair is removed from all furniture and hardwood floors are mopped. It is one of the best decision I made. I can now focus on other more important things than worrying about cleaning my house all the time!

Mine comes every two weeks. It's a nice little perk. We sat down and talked about what she would do/wasn't expected to do before the first visit.
