ETA: I should add....Carley is fine. Just a few things we need to get checked out. I got a few FB messages and didn't mean to alarm anyone. Thanks for your concern though
C's pedi gave me a list of a few different dr's and now I'm working on scheduling appts but since I haven't been here the past 5 years, I was hoping some of you would be able to give a little insight on who's good and who to avoid. Here's a few dr's on the lists I was given:
Cardio: Madaleen Mas, Claudia Pereira, Jose Pumarino, Robert Vogt-Lowell
Ortho: Wesley King, Michael Tidwell, Michael O'Brien, Harry Shufflebarger, Christopher Iobst, Stephen Swirsky
Pediatric Surgeon: Holly Neville, Juan Sola
Thanks!!

Hey! You know I work at MCH, so I can rec docs there.
Cardio - Dr. Burke at MCH is great! My dad is a cardiologist and refers to him a lot. We work closely with them for a medication that we use to treat hemangiomas.
Ortho - when Camryn dislocated her elbow, we saw Dr. Tidwell, and he was great. And ortho is right next to derm at MCH, so you could visit me while you're waiting
Surgery - depends on what it's for - general, plastic, cradiofacial?
Camryn Grace ~ July 6th, 2009 ~ 7lbs 9oz, 20.5"
Brayden Richard Drew ~ December 20, 2010~7lbs 9oz, 20"
The only recomendation i can make is for Dr. Pumarino, he is an amazing doctor, when LO was born they had to do a cardio check on her because her low resting heart rate and he talked to us in so much detail and spend the time explaining everything in detail to us, my dad is family practice doctor and he was in the room with while he explained everything and he was also very impressed at how good he was...thankfully she was cleared in her month follow-up appointment but he is def. a very good doctor
Thanks Mel
Yep, I'm back...I've been here since right after I had Emily.
When Alex was born, they heard a heart murmur (which has since disappeared, thank GOD), but we too saw Dr. Pumarino. He was the doctor that saw him in the hospital, and we took him to a followup at 3 mo. I was pleased with him. Very nice and through. Very carrying for Alex.
GL with everything!
