NEFR: 3rd tri nausea/vomiting?

Anyone have this? I have been waking up puking in the middle of the night the past 2 days and uber nauseated during the day again... Not sure if I've got a bug or if I am revisiting 1st-2nd tri sickness.

Totally NOT trying to freak you out, but in my birth class they said that can happen a day or two before labor begins, as your body works to clean itself out.

Okay, I probably freaked you out. I'm sorry.

Ohhh stop! If this baby came right now I would be exstatic quite honestly as I am (obviously) ready to be done w/ work... BUT I highly doubt this is the case. ;) I don't know why but I just don't feel it is. I go to the OB Thursday so we'll see. I am seriously on the verge of taking a Zofran pill again just to get through the day. :(

  • Maybe acid reflux. it has caused me to occassionally vomit throughout my pregnancy, even without heartburn and the other typical reflux symptoms.

If you are confident you have a good diet (lots of protein, water, healthy fruits and veggies) and it still continues I'd definitely mention it to your care providers and maybe get some labs drawn to make sure everything is OK.

  • I was good for 3-4 weeks, but the past 2 1/2 weeks I've been nauseous daily and vomiting occasionally. I feel like I have 1st tri and 3rd tri symptoms all at once; tired, nauseous, achy, uncomfortable, etc. It sucks.

oh wow, thank you. I'll try taking in more protein and see if that helps too. Quite frankly if it doesn't get better by my appointment on Thursday I'm asking the doctor either way because I know it's not just a virus and I want to be sure it's not anything worse. Thank you!
