would you go to Vegas 2 days after ET?

i'm trying to book something for DH and I for after ET.

i can get free flight and hotel stay in Vegas (i'm a penny slot addict, don't judge me).

the only concern i have is that Vegas is a lot of walking and while i know logically walking a lot won't prevent implantation, i still feel nervous but want to go on vacation

no D has to take vaca by end of Sept (stupid rules and btw give me a call i have a story for you), so he's taking of from 9/16 - 10/1 for my ER and ET.

i'm thinking ET will be around 9/23 or 9/24 so we would fly out on 9/26

i would really want a massage from my fav masseuse ever but am to paranoid to get a rub down in 2ww

I would definitely go. I was actually in Vegas in my 2ww, but closer to the end. I would have kicked myself if I hadn't gone, and yes, it's a lot of walking, but it's FUN and you need to have some FUN! You can rest and relax when you need to, and I wouldn't want you to miss ou!

I think it would be okay. You can just take it a bit easier. Maybe try to walk less. Or you get one of those scooters to ride around in:>

I don't think you should pass it up as long as your RE doesn't care.

I have a skewed perspective on the "taking things easy" edict because we got pregnant on a cycle where we hiked the high peaks. That being said, I would avoid anything that would make you second guess any complications. Can you make an agreement to keep the walking easy and light?

i think so. we could just lounge by the pool all day and only walk around at night

I would go since it is the only opportunity to go. You can lounge around the pool and take small trips btwn there and the penny slots.

My main concern is all the smoking in Vegas. Ick!

I would go and try not to do tons of walking. I went to Myrtle Beach 4 days after my ET and while we lounged at the beach and pool during the day, we walked at night - shopping and on the beach. I don't regret going and it certainly made the 2ww go by faster.

I would also be concerned about the exposure to smoke and all the pollution.

It would definitely help the 2ww go faster. My RE says to take it easy the day of ET then resume Normal activities. I spent 3 hrs doing yard work today & I am 5 days post 3dt!
