have we discussed girls playing with their private parts?

I haven't been around as much lately so sorry if this has been discussed recently. There's usually a lot of talk about boys playing with their special parts, but Lucas hasn't even discovered his yet. Abby, on the other hand, plays with herself at every opportunity and even says "ooohhhh" when she does it. Anyone else have this going on in their house?

    Hazel is quite interested, her hands go down there with every diaper change. I just say 'that is your vagina' and move her hands away so I can wipe:)

    This goes on at our house too! As soon as the diaper comes off, down the hands go, but lately she has graduated from just grabbing to all out smacking herself.

    can't speak for girls, but my LO was into his "special parts" for a while and then kind of forgot about them. so this may be a passing phase.

    Penny was way into exploring down there at a very young age.  Reed wasn't into much until he was potty trained.  Undies = easier access?

    I always tell Penny "no touching poo" if she needs her diaper area cleaned up.  And she knew the word jajina (vagina) when she was like 13 months old.  All kids are different.

    Now we tell Reed that we don't touch ourselves in public.  It's private.  He says "oh".

    P is at the stage where he grabs for everything that interests him... including grabbing himself. He does it at every diaper change and during baths, but when he does he grabs so hard it looks painful. I definitely don't think it's for pleasure for now.
