Thanks again to everyone for your advice and support, it's been rough few days.
We went to see an MFM @ NWern who specializes in high risk, multiples, and pg loss this morning and she was really great. They did another u/s of my cervix and it measured the same as last Thursday's A/S, which was somewhat comforting given all the pain I've been having (which sent us to the hospital on Fri.). The twins still look great. She didn't think a cerclage is necessary/helpful at this point, but was open to it if things deteriorate, i.e. I dilate at all. They will be monitoring my cervix 2x/wk and I will be starting back on progesterone.
She also didn't think that strict bedrest will help me, but that I could do what makes me feel comfortable, which at this point isn't much. It's like someone flipped a switch, I'm so uncomfortable almost all the time now. She didn't think my pain/discomfort has anything to do w/the cervical issue, but she recoed getting a support band and taking it easy.
So just when I thought I was done with my dates w/the vag cam and gave away my old Crinone, it's flashback time...
Thankful for every day

She is having you do suppositories vs. P17 injections? Did they say if you were effaced at all? (Sorry I know I am question queen.)

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
Thanks hon, I'm rooting for you too. She is putting me on Crinone, which seemed odd, but she said supps are effective for helping with cervical integrity. I don't think they consider it effacement, the funnel is like a triangle out of the top of the cervix. There's fluid in it, but baby boy is floating up on top of it and not in it. It makes it so that the actual closed portion is only about half of the total length of my cervix.
5 REs + 3 surgical hysteroscopies for septum/lap + 3 failed IUIs
IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),

Our twins born @36w4d via CS when A came foot first
Thankful for every day
Glad the MFM was more encouraging. Dates with the vag cam aren't my favorite either but they sure are reassuring! Sending strong cervix vibes your way.
