Ever since I discovered yesterday that when I squeeze my boob it leaks I haven't been able to stop. I just find it so fascinating! DH thinks I'm crazy now.

LOL I inspect my boobs every day to make sure they aren't dry and sore and my DH always asks if I'm leaking yet. I think he just wants to see what it looks like when it does.

I do the same thing!! A couple times a week I'll give them a little squeeze and tell myself I'm "just checking" to see if they're still working. LOL. I was very freaked out when I first discovered it though.

BTW- A couple of weeks after I had my DS, I took a bath and it activated my let-down, my breastmilk literally shot across the tub 4ft. It was the funniest thing.

I didnt know I could yet either but I tried it yesterday and clear liquid came out. You have to use a decent amount of force and I squeezed about an inch above m areola pressing downward.

Same thing happened to me. Actually, DH was in the shower with me. Not getting all hot in heavy....we were just making time to talk. Shower seemed like the easiest place when you have an infant. Anywho, DH was facing the shower head and I was washing my hair and he asked if something was crawling on his back. I looked down and both boobs were spraying him. It was so funny! We laughed for hours about that.

I have been doing this for a few weeks now. Not every day, but I can tell when they are a little heavier or more defined (if that makes sense) and I will try to squeeze some colostrum out. I thought it was kind of a weird thing to be doing, making my boobs leak on purpose, but it is fun.

I haven't tried it yet. I was actually just reading that you shouldn't do this because you want to save the colostrum for the baby. I'm sure it's no big deal, though.

I love LOVE all these responses. DH also finds it fascinating. most of the time he's like "you haven't done it in awhile, lets see what you can do" i'm kind of split...I think its fascinating, sometimes funny, but sometimes it just makes me feel like a cow. it won't feel the same when they are actually being put to good use!

I have been leaking for weeks, even staining shirts and purchased some breast pads to prevent leak through in public!!

I have also been fascinated by this and often squeeze. BUT BEWARE!!! I have already had Mastitis (an infection in my nipple/milk duct!) It was not pleasant! Make sure your hands/fingers are very clean!! Stick out tongue

I told myself I was not going to find out if this was happening to me until last night, when I was thinking about it and decided to "try." Lo and behold, my left breast leaked!!! It was the weirdes thing! I tried the right, and nothing happened. I hope that isn't something that is a sign that my right boob is going to have problems. but seriously? Weird.
