My LO is 4 months old, we live in NY...The past few days I have dressed her in a onsie with the feet pj's but thats it....for the longest time I was swaddling her waist down but now she is pulling up on it and I worry she will pull it near her face....but then I feel she will be cold without it!!!
How are you all dressing your LO's for bed???
Re: How do you dress your LO for bed??
Footie sleepers. I've just started buying the Carter's fleece ones, which I prefer for the winter months.
We used the sleep sack for a bit between de-swaddling but when she started rolling to her tummy, I stopped the sleep sack. It happened the exact same way with DS. He just wore footie sleepers. Also, beware that there will be days where your LO's hands will be so cold and I remember feeling awful about it. But, it's kind of normal for little babies, so don't worry
We live in Buffalo. It's been getting pretty chilly here at night. We put LO in a onesie, socks, and a fleece sleep bag OR a onesie, socks, and a zip up sleep & play. I also have a handmade blanket that I have tucked in on both sides of the mattress and I put that over her legs up to her hip. She normally kicks it off right away though.
FWIW, I think we are turning the heat on soon because I worry that LO is still too cold at night. The temp in our house was 61 degrees this morning.
You don't do anything
Even still, my DS wakes up with coldish hands. They just don't have that ability to snuggle the covers over their bodies like we do...and they survive. I promise!
Cotton footie pjs. And I just starting picking up some of the heavier micro-fleece Carter footies for the winter.

My Blog: Naturally Mindful
geez, i would love for it to be cooler at night. i'm in so cal and it's been super hot, even at night...like 75 degrees. so, i've been putting DD in a long sleeve onesie with a light blanket tucked under the mattress.
She's wearing nothing at the moment, but I'll put a footless sleeper on her when I go to bed. Often she is just in a short sleeve onesie because we bedshare and she gets really hot snuggling next to me. Now that it's cooler at night I've been dressing her warmer than before. Once the winter hits she'll be in a fleece sleeper because we have no insulation in our bedroom.
ETA: she's wearing nothing but a diaper at the moment
This is what we do. We also wrap a blanket around him under his arms and open at the bottom. I guess you could call this semi-swaddling. On warmer nights we'll just do a onesie, socks, and the blanket.

Short-sleeved onesie. Our AC is set for 78-80, and he's got a fan blowing towards the crib and a humidifier going. Last week I tried the cotton jammies, but when he woke up he was all sweaty on his back. Thinking I might hold off on the jammies a little bit longer. It's only getting into the 70s here at night and between 90 and 100 during the day. His hands haven't felt too terribly cold when he gets up either.
