So with my due date less then 7 weeks away, I'm starting to plan big time! I want to make a bunch of meals that I can freeze so that when I can come home from the hospital for the first few weeks we can just throw those in the oven and I don't have to worry about really cooking. There's a lot of us, me, DH, and my three teenage stepkids, so I have to plan ahead. I'll do the obvious, lasagna, a baked ziti etc...but any recommendations for things that freeze and reheat well?

I have a great recipe for a casserole that is ground meat, rice, zucchini, tomatoes, allspice and other seasonings - topped with cheese! It makes a ton so I split it up into 2 8x8 dishes. Let me know if that sounds like it's your taste and I'll send you the recipe!
What about soups? Almost any soup can be made up and frozen (Without the pasta or rice in it) and then have the other stuff added later. Toast some cheese sandwiches or have a salad on the side and you've got a complete meal!
Married 08.06 Started TTC 05.08 Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH DH: perfect 1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p 2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
I would be interested in that recipe! I know I should do this too, but I have no idea where to put it all! Thinking we may need to invest in a deep freezer....
So far I have made the following recipes. I honestly don't know if they reheat well because I haven't tried to reheat them yet, but hey, it was worth a try.
The first three I made and froze individually, and then stored in freezer bags:
TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR
2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love!

So far I have made baked mac & chz, chicken croquettes, a chicken and greenbean casserole, taco filling (all we would need to do it heat it up and pull out the taco shells), and some chicken in a lime-honey marinade. I will probably make some baked ziti this weekend.
After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011! 7lbs 13oz 20 inches long
Re: Need ideas for good meals to freeze...
This recipe is a great twist on stuffed shells and I know for a fact from experience that it freezes well:

I have made this recipe before, made into mini meatloafs, and froze them unbaked. When I did bake them, they turned out well: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/good-eats-meat-loaf-recipe/index.html
I also found this blog somewhere on the bump and save this page so I could get some more ideas:

Hope this helps!
Ha! I went to Super Suppers and splurged.
However, I also saved this post in case I decide to get off my butt and cook.
So far, I've made stuffed shells, baked ziti, chicken divan, beef stew, stuffed chicken, saurbraten (sp?), and my mom's world famous crab cakes
I still want to make Jambalaya and Pulled Pork.
ETA: I've also been freezing half my batches of cookies or muffins or whatever I've been making lately.
I LOVE to be in the kitchen.
