How late are you allowed to go overdue? It seems like half the board has already dropped fetus... who will wind up being pregnant the farthest into October?

As a VBAC patient, I need to be induced at 41 weeks per hospital policy, so I'm looking at somewhere between October 6th and maybe the 8th at the latest.

I'm not due until Sept. 25th so there's a good chance I'll be an October momma. Seeing all these September outside babies only makes me realize how much longer I have to go!

I'm not allowed to be induced for a VBAC. I don't understand why, I guess its hospital policy. Grrr....

You are due the same day as me! I am hoping I don't go overdue! I thought maybe I was going to go into labor last night because I was having some pretty good contractions (thanks to me for walking around Kings Island yesterday for 10.5 hours!). I figured I would go into labor and have him on my mom's 50th birthday which is today. But...obviously that didn't happen.

Since we have stopped PTL twice now...I am assuming he is going to be stubborn and wait until October. Which means I will probably end up having him on October 3rd like everyone jokes about. That is my birthday and also my little sister's birthday. We were born on the same day 2 years apart and everyone thinks that he is just going to hang out and make his arrival then...I really hope not!

Due September 26th, my Dr.'s policy is to not go past 41 weeks. So the absolute latest is October 3rd with an induction. However, she said she rarely has that happen most of the women she delivers go into labor at 39-40 weeks.

Supposed to try for VBAC but baby is breech and I just feel like she's not going to turn. Due 9/24 (ticker is off) and that is the longest I'm allowed to go... No induction either (if she happens to flip) but I'm not comfortable with an induction for VBAC.. My decision, not Dr/hospital policy.

I due on the 29th and my doc won't even talk induction until 41 weeks, so that would be the 6th and she said if all was well the latest she would let me go (trying to avoid induction) is 42 weeks so the 13th. I really hope it doesn't get to that point, but I keep waiting for September 13th to come so I know it won't be any longer than a month then!

I am due Oct 1 (original LMP was in Sept so I started here, then went to Oct 6 and back to Oct 1. I'm back because I relate more to people due in Sept than Oct now).

My doctor said he only does a couple days after the due date. He also said it depends on how things are progressing...

I am trying for VBAC as well and my midwife said she would allow 10 days post, but I am on the earlier side of the month with a due date of 9/7. But in general I won't be allowed induction or want a prostaglandin induction. I have yet to bring up foley bulb. I have faith I will go into labor however because I did last time. My big fear is that my water will break without labor and I will get cut for that reason. I am GBS positive this time while I was negative last time...so if water breaks first, there goes my plan to stay home for awhile.

I'm due the 19th, but my mom was 2 weeks late with each of her five kids...and our midwives routinely let patients go to 42 weeks. So if baby is as late as he/she could be, I'm looking at October 4 before I need to be induced.

Good chance I will be an October mom! I'm due the 24th so I suppose I could go until the 8th (2 weeks after due date) I haven't had any complications, so there is no reason why I couldn't go that late if something doesn't come up.

ETA: My Dr. and I haven't discussed how late she will allow me to go past my due date, I'm just assuming 2 weeks because I think that is normal.

I'm also due the 29th! Induction won't be mentioned until 7-10 days after due date. The latest will be Oct. 9th. I really hope LO won't go late!

I'm due Sept 25th, and barring any complications, my midwife will go up to 42 weeks. She thinks the baby's going to come early though since DS came at 36 weeks. We'll see!

Due the 30th, and I'm pretty sure as long as I'm passing my NSTs without an issue they will let me go the full 42 weeks before insisting on induction, so I could go as late as the 14th. I had my first DD on her due date, no induction, so I'm hoping for the same this time around.

I'm due the 22nd and already have a NST/BPP ultrasound scheduled for the 29th. If things look fine w/baby, my doc will let me go a few more days. I went into labor w/ DS at 39w5d so I'm (hopeful/wishful) thinking that I'll deliver around my due date.

I'm due Sept 19. DH thinks lo will come early, I have no idea. I really hope he is right, and at the very least I hope it's not in Oct. (I have issues with Oct... lol)

I asked my mw when she will induce, and she said anytime after 40 weeks, but that it increases my chance of C/S a ton, so I don't think shes too inclined to induce!

Please send labor dust! Anytime now is ok, but after the 10th would be ideal (baby shower)

I'm due the 29th, but my doc said they won't even talk about helping things along until I am at least 10 days past due, so that would be October 9. DH and I think he is coming October 4 though. Well, hoping...

But yeah, I fully expect to still be pregnant in October.

I'm due the 25th and my doc has told me repeatedly that he won't let me go past 41 weeks. Today at my appt we discussed it and because I had a very bad reaction to pitocin during DS's induction when I was a couple days shy of being 42 weeks. When I say I had a bad reaction to pitocin - it was really bad. I am going to avoid being induced at all costs. If that means that 41 weeks comes with no progress and no conditions that require an induction, my doc & I are in agreement to give it a few days.

Basically, there is a small, yet possible chance I could have an October baby!

I'm having a repeat section. But since my babies both have the same due date I'm answering anyway.

DS1 was due 9/26. I let them start the induction at 41 weeks 6 days. Before then I was refusing since I wasn't making any progress. But they don't let you go past 42 weeks so I had to start it that day. He was born 10/10.

If I were trying for a VBAC I would wait as long as I could again. But since I'm not, DS2 will be born on 9/20, assuming my water doesn't break before that.

My doctor is very flexible with the inducing the second baby if there is progress. She doesn't like going past 41 weeks, though, and with my dd, i hadn't progressed at all at 41 weeks.

Only issue I have is that there is a family wedding in the Vineyard on October 8th (I am due on 9/27). I really hope i go before then because i literally have no one to watch my dd.

I'm due 9/30, and since I have GD my doctor said she may induce as early as 39 weeks, or she may let me go as late as a few days past my due date, all depending on how the NSTs and ultrasounds look, of course. I have a feeling he's coming during my 39th week...just a sneaking suspicion.

It seems like the board has been so quiet lately because all of our early-September moms are having their babies! Makes me excited and nervous at the same time.

I'm term today so I figure I could have and August, a September or even and October baby, though it would be October 1 or 2. You never know. DD came at 41 weeks 1 day and DS came at 37 weeks 5 days.

I am officially due September 27th. My doc will let me go up to 2 weeks overdue. With DS I went 10 days overdue, so that would put me at Oct 7th if that were to happen again. However, this baby is still transverse so if she doesn't change in the next few weeks, I'll probably have a scheduled c-section before that. If she does change positions, I would not be surprised at all to end up with an October baby.
