Anyone in or near 3rd tri NOT experience colustrum leaking?

I thought I had read in my books that you could experience leaking of colustrum from your breasts after 2nd tri but I haven't had any at all and I'm a little paranoid that it could mean I'll have issues bfing when Carina gets here...

I know that sounds nuts..

Anyone want to indulge me with a story of their own?

    I haven't had ANY leaking at all. Not even something that I thought was leakage. I really hope I can BF!!
    IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
    IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
    IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
    IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
    FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
    IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

    I leaked with both pregnancies, but it does not indicate future success/failure with breastfeeding. 

    Are you sure you are not leaking?  Wear a light colored bra and then check periodically for small stains.  With my first I never saw it, but saw the remnants in my bra.

    I didnt leak at all. After birth I had plenty of clustrum for DS to eat. My milk came in 1.5 days after birth and I have tons. I also don't have any issues BF my DS, so don't let that scare you. I'm sure you will be fine.

    I havent had any leakage.. I dont think its something to worry about- one of those ' everybody is different' things

    I don't think I've had any leaking...one week when I was really searching day after day, I saw like the teeniest bit of yellowing in one of my white bras, but haven't seen anything since...not even sure if that was leaking or just a fluke. I sometimes worry about not leaking either, but we'll see...

    Whew !!!! I guess it is just one of those things , you'd think the books would be more clear that it's an indiviual kind of thing that sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't....

    Here's to hoping BF goes well for all of us!!!

    Same here -- no leakage.  Actually, I haven't had a single change in my breasts the whole pregnancy (not bigger, never sore, no change in aereola)....who knows?
    TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows? Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    Leaking is not a sign of what your milk supply will be like, don't worry. I think I had one tiny little droplet leak once when I was pregnant with my son, and we had a great nursing relationship. Just count yourself lucky that you don't have to wear nursing pads before your baby is born!

    I did not leak during either pregnancy. The first time, I did have trouble BFing and dried up at 10ish weeks. L latched but my supply never built up to meet her needs.

    The second time, I was able to EBF for about five months, when I introduced some formula while I was at work because I was tired of all the pumping. I BFed C until she was 7 1/2 months. I stopped totally by my choice, and not due to any problems at all.

    My BFF didn't leak either and she EBF for 14 or 15 months! Good luck!

    I had none whatsoever, ever. But once LO was here I had HUGE supply issues. I was exclusively pumping due to little one being in the NICU and I could pump more than 12ml (aka like a tenth of an ounce) combined from both boobs even after 2 weeks. Needless to say, I quit! Now I am still leaking randomly, so annoying!

    I have not had any yet either.  Not sure what that means myself, but I know once you deliver you have a huge hormonal change and things like our boobies just start workin'!  :)

    I had no leaking prior to having LO.  It took me 5 days for my milk came in, which was the worst part.  I felt like LO was crying and hungry and I had very little to give him.  Which was very, very hard on me. 

    Once my milk came in, I have been able to BF, but I don't get much when I pump - I am lucky if I can get 2 ounces from both breasts.  So I am probably going to have to supplement with formula once I go back to work.  I also take Fenugreek to help keep my supply up.

    I have been leaking, but my SIL never leaked and she still breastfed her baby just fine. Leaking or not leaking isn't any indication of breastfeeding success, so don't worry!
    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!
