Disapearing symptoms?

Has anyone experienced their symptoms coming and going? Im noticing that my breast tenderness has decreased significantly. I used to hardly be able to touch them without flinching, now I have to squeeze to notice any kind of discomfort. As a first timer I have no idea what to expect, and I know everyone is different, but would you consider this "normal"? It would be reassuring to know others have experienced the same thing. Ugh, I hate the long gaps in between doctors visits now, I look forward to them telling me everything is fine, lol. So I guess I have to come to you ladies to get my "everything is fine" fix, hahaha :P

Re: Disapearing symptoms?

  • I am not sure if it is normal, but I have had the same thing with breast tenderness coming and going. Sometimes I wear a sports bra to bed because it hurts so bad and other times there is no difference. (I have yet to have breast growth either, but fine to stay at the normal 34F)

Same with m/s symptoms. Some days I feel I cannot leave the bathroom or eat and other days I'm feeling fabulous.

  • I'm assuming that is all normal.  I was the same way with m/s and I just had my first u/s last week and the baby is growing perfectly!  I'm just thankful for the days when my m/s isn't there!  I'm also looking forward to the 2nd tri!

  • This is the same thing I am experiencing.  My boobs are hardly tender at all anymore.  They are the most tender during the night now (although it's nothing like in the beginning), then by the time I wake up the soreness is pretty much gone.

It's normal for symptoms to come and go, but remember too that not all pregnant women have sore boobs the entire time....my sister said hers only hurt for the first 6 weeks.  It's hard not to worry though, the waiting time between each appt is just killing me!

  • Am totally in the same boat.  In fact, many of my symptoms seem to really be easing up.  I think its just getting a lot better as we near the end of the first trimester.  Yay!!  Big Smile
  • Your placenta is taking over which results in hormone changes.  M/S sometimes decreases around now, breast tenderness lightens up.

    NORMAL.

  • Yes I am only 9.5 weeks but for the past 5 days NOTHING. No breast tenderness, no nausea, nothing. I had some spotting so they brought me in for an u/s today and all was well. So don't worry but I know it's hard. I am gonna get me a doppler :)
  • My breasts are just as tender but my m/s comes and goes these days.  I worry b/c my symptoms w/ DD were hard core and consistant throughout the entire pregnancy.  I had an u/s two weeks ago and all was fine.  I have another tomorrow - very anxious!  GL to you!
