My baby girl and I are flying back to the states to visit in September... a 14 hour plane ride..
It's the first time I've flown with her.. and I bottle feed her. This may be a dumb question, but how do I warm her bottle on the plane? Would the stewardesses have warm water they could fill her bottle with for me? I really think I'm just freaking out about this whole traveling with her by myself...
Re: long plane ride with 2 month old..
You'll be fine. I traveled with DS at 6 weeks and at 4 months, and 6 weeks was easier. She'll probably sleep most of the time.
As for the bottle - they will have hot water, they serve tea, don't they? You may have to wait for it to cool down a little, but it'll be there.
I'm sure you already know this, but pack way more formula/diapers/changes of clothes than you think you'll need in case you get delayed. Have a good trip!
Second, as PP stated, double the amount of diapers you think you need. And bring at least 3 extra cha ges of clothes. I was on a flight where a sweet 3 yo got sick 3times. Mom only had 1 extra shirt. Yeah..... And SHE only had one change of clothes too! Yeah.....
Third, have a bigg bottle ready to go BEORE take off. The plane starts pressurizing as soon as they close the door, not at the actuall take-off.
