NSAIFR: I hate dentists

I mean, I'm sure they're great people and thank goodness they exist but I have such massive anxiety about the dentist.

I have to go tomorrow (recently discovered that I've ground some teeth flat in my sleep! YOUCH!)....

Pity Party for 1 please?

    I hear you...I'm ridiculous embarrassed that I haven't been to one in more years than I'm willing to admit...  I really really need to go :(  good luck!

    I'm not a big fan of them (who is?) and I've never even had a cavity in my whole life.  Just go and get it over with!  You'll be glad you did!

    I am terrified and have been since i had a bad experience at age 5. Don't like them either. GL tomorrow.

    Coming from a wife of a dentist...I am scared too!  Great people but so not a fun thing to do!  Good luck and you can do it!

    I always loved going to the dentist!  Maybe that's why I was a dental assistant and married a dentist :)  Good luck at your appt!
