Success after IF

So we were supposed to get pictures taken tomorrow,but

We have to reschedule them.  I'm not exactly happy about it, but it is what it is.   My sister set up an appt for her 2 kids to get their pictures done, and I am piggybacking her appt.  The photographer gives a discount on the sitting fee if you have more than a certain amt of people having their pictures taken.   So I had our outfits ready and my sister calls me and tells me that she (meaning my sister) has to cancel the photo session and reschedule.  Why you ask? Because my niece and nephew are all peeling from being out in the sun all week at the beach and sister doesn't want to pay $$$$ for pictures with peeling faces.   Grrrr!  Okay I understand that I wouldn't want to either.   She did say that I could keep the appt if I wanted to, but that the photographer was giving us a discount (a hefty one too).  So I said okay and to let me know when the new date is.  Here is a slight issue.  DH works all kinds of hours, and he had to tell his job that on picture day, he could only work up until 4:00.   So now DH has to request that again once we get the new date- which could be a pain.  And yes I do want to get pictures done with all 4 of us (me, DH, N, and A)- my sister is only doing her kids.

Oh and hopefully Ava hasn't outgrown the outfit we picked out for her to wear.

Just a little inconvenient- but I'll get over it.

  • Henry was supposed to get his pictures taken yesterday, but I had to cancel because he fell twice Friday at daycare and he has a rather large bruise on his face.

  • I would contact the photographer and ask her if she's still interested in shooting your shoot with the discount ....I would speculations that shed rather have SOME money than none. "Greetings NAME, I'm sure you heard that my sister had to cancel. As unfortuna you and ask if your still be available for our shoot at the prearranged price of ____. I wanted to ask because I do understand that last minute cancelations impact your finances of your business. We are willing and able to wait for my sister to reschedule but wanted to toss this idea out there, money in your pocket and the time slot remaining booked"

    Too late the appt is for tomorrow and she (photographer) posted on FB, about her last minute cancellation. Someone jumped all on it, so it's gone.
