So I got some non-toxic finger paints, and some crayons. Is 13 months old too early to expect her to do anything but eat them? (obviously, she'll need a little help!)
What are some other fun creative activities I could do with her?
Do you put a tarp (shower curtain? newspaper?) down under the work area, or buckle them into a high chair?
I'm thinking the bath tub might be the best place to learn to finger paint, ha!

Oh, yeah! It really is a lot of fun. "Paint" was one of DD's first words, seriously! My friend and I are both "messy kids are happy kids" type of people and we paint as often as we can get together. I still have pink paint on my camera from our first painting experience, but I can't bring myself to wash it off because it is special.
Here's a pic after a little clean up.
